A room by room renovation of the 200 year old elegant, award winning Ryland Inn was completed under Robert Holt's direction. A 20 man crew renovated the commercial kitchen, dining rooms, bar and the eloquent entrance, among many other areas.

Creativity is a must for any fine woodworker. Here, Robert designed and built a front porch to match the old farm house while embracing a large maple tree that was a mere seeding when the house was built.

This porch was designed with ingenuity and grace, combining beauty and function. The double hung windows fully enclose the room for the winter season. For summer enjoyment, they gently glide into the walls beneath, as shown in the picture above (right). Their versatility in openings makes this the perfect year-round space.
